Album Review 배우 이준기의 새로운 도전과 방향성을 음악에 여과 없이 담아냈다 범람하는 배우 출신들 음반과는 좀더 다른 노선의 음악. 새로운 음악 작업에 목말라 있던 이준기는 mAd sOuL cHiLd의 이상열과 박근철의 프로듀서 팀인 Night & Day와 서태지밴드 키보디스트 출신 김석중이 프로듀서로 참여하였다. CNBLUE 4th mini Album [Re:BLUE] Album Information 씨엔블루가 10개월 만에 국내 발표하는 4번째 미니 앨범 'Re:BLUE'는 6곡 전곡 씨엔블루 자작곡으로 채워졌다. 타이틀곡 'I'm sorry'를 비롯, 'Coffee shop', '나란 남자', '라라라', 'Where you are'은 정용화 자작곡이며 '나 그대보다'는 이종현이 작곡했다. 특히 타이틀곡 'I'm sorry'는 세련되고 강렬한 모던 락 장르의 곡으로 씨엔블루의 색깔이 잘 드러나 있다. 씨엔블루가 심혈을 기울인 이번 음반에는 모던 락 외에도 팝 락, 디스코 락 등이 다양하게 수록되어 있다. | Related Articles The group's comeback in South Korea was officially announced on December 17, 2012 via their concert Blue Night, held in Seoul. The mini-album's release date was scheduled for January 14, day of the group's third Korean anniversary and also third anniversary of the group's first Korean mini-album Bluetory.[2] The first teaser was revealed on the group's website on January 3, 2013 with screencaps of the drama video teaser. The image also revealed 8 blank spaces (″___ _____″) that speculated if it was the name of the promotional track or of the mini-album's title.[3] In January 7, the first video teasers were released. The teasers are emotional versions of the members expressing sadness or fury after a girl break up with them and says "I'm sorry". All individual video teasers were released on the same day.[4][5][6][7] In January 9, a photo teaser was released. The photoshoot of the album was made in the streets of London. The group's agency, FNC Music, revealed: “We worked hard to find a location that showcases London’s exotic aura. Although the filming was delayed due to the rainy weather, everyone passionately participated in the photoshoot.”[8] One day later, on January 10, the first music video teaser was released.[9] In January 11, the second music video teaser was released.[10] In January 14, along with the group's third Korean anniversary celebration, the mini-album and music video of "I'm Sorry" were released at the same time.[11] The mini-album is composed by six tracks, five Korean and an English track. A major part of the tracks were written by the member Jung Yong-hwa. The tracks "I'm Sorry", used as title track of the mini-album, and "Naram Namja" were written and composed by Yong-hwa and Han Sung-ho. "Coffee Shop" and "La La La" were written and composed by Yong-hwa. "Na Geudaeboda" was written by Han Sung-ho and Kim Jae-yang, who also composed the song along with the member Lee Jong-hyun. The English version of the song "Where You Are" was written and composed by Yong-hwa. The song was originally recorded in Japanese and first released on the Japanese album Code Name Blue as a bonus track of the CD+DVD edition.[12] The promotions of the song "I'm Sorry" started in January 18, 2013 on KBS' show Music Bank.[13] They are also promoting on the shows Music Core, Inkigayo and Show Champion. Three songs of the mini-album were also performed during the first week of promotions: the song "Myself More Than You" on Music Bank in January 18, the English version of "Where You Are" on Music Core in January 19 and "Coffee Shop" on Inkigayo in January 20. CNBLUE kicks off the new year with their fourth mini-album Re:BLUE. Leader Yong Hwa has a major songwriting presence this time with writing and composing credits on five of the album’s tracks including the lead single I’m Sorry. Jong Hyun also co-composed a song for the album. Re:BLUE continues CNBLUE’s brand of modern rock and pop rock, while adding in new musical styles like disco rock.
