Album Review 2012년 7월 10일, B.A.P 첫 미니 앨범의 첫 번째 곡 'Goodbye' 선공개! 서태지 밴드의 TOP, 밴드가 아닌 그룹으로서는 최초로 B.A.P와 락을 노래하다! 그 동안 'WARRIOR'와 'POWER' 등 힙합을 베이스로 락과 크럼프 등을 가미한 강렬한 남성적 음악을 선보여왔던 B.A.P는 이번에는 선공개곡 'Goodbye'를 통해 정통 락을 선보인다.  Goodbye'는 TS 스튜디오 소속의 촉망 받는 작곡가 전다운이 작곡하고, 서태지 밴드의 기타리스트이자 10년이 넘는 기간 동안 서태지 솔로 음악의 편곡을 담당해왔던 TOP이 밴드가 아닌 그룹 음악에서는 최초로 편곡을 담당하면서 기타와 베이스의 실제 연주에 드럼까지 모두 작업해 기대를 모으고 있는 곡이다.  또한, 포맨과 케이윌과의 작업에서 작사 실력을 뽐내왔던 민연재와 B.A.P의 리더인 방용국이 작사에 참여해, 시간이 갈수록 어릴 적 꿈을 포기하고 현실에 수긍해 살아가는 이들에게 새로운 시작을 두려워 말라라는 희망적 메시지를 담고 있다.

The single is expected to see its release on July 9th. Goodbye is specially noted as it is produced by none other than TOP, the lead guitarist for The Seo Taiji Band. TOP is said to have taken on the role as not just the head producer, but as well as a musician as he is featured on the song playing a variety of instruments from guitar, bass guitar and the drums. While B.A.P’s previous singles showcased strong urban, hip-hop influences, Goodbye is said to a rock number that will marriage B.A.P’s unique musical color with the distinctive rock sound as produced by TOP. Lyrically, Goodbye will take in the same mold as the group’s earlier releases as a commentary on society, describing their encouragement for fans to “never be frightened of new beginnings” and to “keep their hopes alive for their dreams.”  Lee Shin Ho.
